I’m Kelly Burtnick, and my work centers on helping families thrive—together.
About Kelly Burtnick M. Ed.
I’m an experienced educator with over 20 years in education, certified Teach Through Love Facilitator, and mother of three teens. I bring professional expertise and real-life parenting experience to our sessions.
I created Shore to Thrive to support parents who want to raise emotionally healthy children while reducing stress and power struggles at home. I offer a welcoming, down-to-earth space where parents feel supported, understood, and empowered.
What I’ve learned is this: most parents don’t need more advice. They need space to talk things through, language that actually works in real moments, and support that feels human — not judgmental.
At the heart of Shore to Thrive is a conscious parenting approach rooted in connection, communication, and emotional regulation. Let’s help you gain practical tools you can use immediately- without judgment, perfection, or unrealistic expectations.
My Background
I’m an educator with over 20 years of classroom teaching experience and hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in education. From a young age, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to education and helping others thrive.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in both public and private school systems, supporting children across a wide range of developmental stages. I’ve nurtured elementary and middle school students and guided PreK children through their transition into public and private kindergarten programs.
Most recently, I became certified as a Teach Through Love Facilitator, a compassionate, relationship-centered approach to parenting and communication. I believe that raising emotionally intelligent children begins with connection, understanding, and conscious communication.
My Passion
Helping children and families thrive has always been at the heart of my work. Over the years, countless conversations and conferences with parents made something clear: meaningful change often starts by supporting parents directly.
That realization led me to shift my focus to parent education. Today, I’m dedicated to helping parents build conscious communication skills and create more harmony at home—no matter the age of their children.
Through practical tools, reflective guidance, and compassionate support, I help families strengthen connection, navigate challenges with confidence, and cultivate calmer, more loving relationships. I invite you to join me on this journey toward a more peaceful and intentional way of parenting.
